Animal facts-Ocelot

In this blog post I will be discussing the Ocelot.

They live in parts of Mexico, Central America and South America. They are mammals and are carnivores. They can weigh up to 50 lbs. They are threatened as well. They have dappled hair, which helps them camouflage. They are twice the size of a domesticated cat. These are nocturnal cats. They eat rabbits, rodents, fish, iguanas, frogs, monkeys and fish. Unlike other cats they swim quite well. These cats can adapt in human places as well. Humans target ocelot’s fur as well. In autumn they give birth to little kittens.

  1. Ocelots are cute, aren't they? I saw a baby ocelot at the fair once. It jumped up and tried to hang from the ceiling of its cage. It was adorable =3
